What About Bob?

ROBERT KINGDON BERRY, APR, FELLOW PRSA

For four decades Bob Berry has provided counsel and executed successful tactics in public relations to some of the world's largest corporations, small local non-profit organizations and just about everything in-between.  Beginning with IBM and Dictaphone and then with Berry Associates, he now heads Kingdon-Nichols LLC in Arizona, and retains an informal relationship with Berry Ecke in New Jersey.

A nationally recognized leader in organizational communication, he has been a featured speaker at meetings and conventions of the Society of Human Resources Management, The National Association of Association Executives, The National Quick Printers Association, The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractor’s National Association, and a number of professional seminars. He has been a published poet and journalist and an adjunct professor at Fairleigh Dickinson, Seton Hall, and Rutgers Universities.

 

   
       

In 2007 he was President of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Southern Arizona chapter and   Chairman of the Pima County Health Department Pandemic Influenza communication committee. He has been nominated for PRSAs Golden Anvil Award, was named PR Person of the Year by it's New Jersey chapter, and held the  Morris County Chamber of Commerce honor of Small Businessperson of the Year.

He was appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court to the Committee on Attorney Advertising and has served on Boards of National Investor Relations Institute; The New Jersey Human Resources Planning Group, the Arts Council of The Morris Area, National Vietnam Veterans Leadership Program, Rutgers University School of Communication, South African Leadership Development Program and was President, New Jersey Drama Critics Association.

He is currently a member of the Southern Arizona Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, and a member of the Tucson chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators.
